Sexual harassment unfortunately occurs in sports and therefore also in chess.
As sc Hoofddorp, we strive to have volunteers, especially those who guide youth in any way, request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
It is a preventive measure against sexual harassment.

Disciplinary regulations and confidential counselor KNSB and sc Hoofddorp
Chess club Hoofddorp follows the disciplinary rules of the KNSB and, pursuant to the statutes of the KNSB, the disciplinary rules for sexual harassment (SI) of the Institute for Sports Law (ISR).
Information about submitting a report or complaint and the contact details of the confidential counselor of the KNSB can be found in the KNSB manual, chapter Sexual Harassment.
